Advanced Optronics Secures Exclusive License<\/h1>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1727538737554{margin-top: 20px !important;padding-right: 10% !important;}” text_direction=”default”]In January, Advanced Optronics reached a significant milestone by securing an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to its core intellectual property (IP), which was originally developed by co-founders, Dr. Jay Reddy and Dr. Maysam Chamanzar, during their tenure at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). This work was a culmination of Jay and Maysam\u2019s track record of working together over the past 8 years to pioneer breakthroughs in the field of flexible implantable devices.<\/p>\n

The development of this IP was made possible through the generous support of UPMC Enterprises, a leading healthcare innovation investor, via the Center for Machine Learning and Health through a grant <\/a>titled \u201cSmart Sensors for Evaluating and Improving Cochlear Implants\u201d. This comprehensive IP portfolio encompasses the manufacturing, design, use, and software for our advanced sensors.
