Advanced Optronics

Delivering the Future of Sensor-Enabled Surgical Tools

Our micro-scale sensors are designed to enable real-time AI guidance for surgeons to increase their success rates and reduce expensive complications in delicate procedures, starting with cochlear implantation.

We Build Smart Sensors for Surgical Tools

FlexDetect

Bending and sensing in tiny spaces

Our ultra-thin, biocompatible sensors detect minute flexing and strain in surgical instruments. Equipping surgeons with precise data where only intuition was used before.

What Is Advanced Optronics?

Monitoring critical moments, preventing errors

Our surgical platform interprets real-time sensor data to warn surgeons of potential complications.
Each platform is custom tailored for the surgery, surgically assisted tool, and procedure

  • Real-time and continuous feedback
  • Alerts and warnings
  • Web or tablet interfaces
  • Sensor readouts
  • Detailed reports and logs
What We're Doing

Assisting Cochlear Implant Surgery

An advance in available data for highly sensitive surgery done previously by feel alone.

Our technology currently assists surgeons in their management of electrode arrays insertion into the delicate cochlea.

Why We're Different

The Big Picture

By monitoring surgical instruments with superhuman accuracy, we provide real-time preventative alerts to help avoid complications.

Our technology augments surgeon perception during delicate procedures to provide patients everywhere with the best possible care.

The system will aid cochlear implantation before expanding to additional procedures.
